FEATURES

1.The pulse diaphragm valves are especially designed for dust collector service applications, combining high flow, long life and extremely fast opening and closing to produce reliable and economical operation.

2.The high flow, angle type bodies, springless construction, in combination with the special diaphragm assemblies give the unique operating features required for dust collector service applications.

3.The design with integral compression fittings will facilitate installation because there is no need for threaded piping.

4.Built-in silencers guarantee noise free operation and avoid foreign particles entering the valve.

5.The integral operators are provided with epoxy moulded F-class coils. Various optional waterproof and explosionproof solenoids for use in potentially explosive atmospheres (gas & dust) according to Directive ATEX 94/9/EC can be mounted on the same basic valve (see page 45 till 52).

6.ASCO/JOUCOMATIC components satisfy all relevant EC directives.

WORKING PRINCIPLE

Solenoid pulse diaphragm valve is composed of two air cells. When the compressed air connects with the valve, it comes into air cell at the rear firstly through the inlet orifice. Then the pressure pushes the diaphragm closely against the outlet port of the valve to make the valve closed.

When the valve receives the signal from control device, it moves the armature and exhaust orifice of air cell at the rear is open, the air cell loses pressure quickly. The diaphragm returns back under the push of compressed air. The valve is open, compressed air blows by the valve.

When signal disappears, armature returns to initial position, escape orifice is closed. The pressure of the air cell at the rear recovers, and push the diaphragm against the outlet port closed again, the valve is closed.
