Analysis of the sealing material of solenoid valve

Solenoid valve is a common industrial equipment in automatic control. It is used to control the flow of medium in the control system, and the speed is equal to that of fluid. Due to the need to control various media, whether it is gas or liquid, the tightness must be emphasized. So for solenoid valves, sealing is very important.

     At present, there are mainly three kinds of common sealing materials in the market: nitrile rubber, EPDM rubber, and fluorine rubber.

     Among the three products, nitrile rubber has strong oil resistance, abrasion resistance, heat resistance, water resistance and other characteristics, as well as good viscous properties. But the electrical energy and elasticity are relatively poor. The EPDM rubber is a low-cost rubber compound, but it can absorb a large amount of fillers. Fluorine rubber has higher chemical resistance, it can withstand some common oils and inorganic organic solvents.
