Classification of pneumatic components and matters needing attention in their use

Regarding classification:
1. Control element, which controls the start and stop of driving element, such as solenoid valve, manual valve, etc.
2. Driving elements, such as cylinders, claws and pneumatic motors, which use air compression to obtain thrust.
3. Detection elements, vacuum pressure and flow components, such as pressure sensors, vacuum sensors, flow sensors.
4. Gas source treatment element, removing impurities such as moisture, oil, garbage and other impurities of compressed air produced by compressor or or pressure regulating elements, such as pressure reducing valve, filter, air dryer, drain, deoiler, booster valve.
5. Vacuum components, pneumatic components, such as vacuum generators and vacuum suckers, which produce vacuum environment or adsorb other products by air compression.
6. Auxiliary components, such as connectors, hoses, silencers, check valves, manifolds and pressure gauges, are used together with driving elements and vacuum elements.
Concerning matters needing attention in use:
The device is simple and portable, the installation and maintenance are simple, the working medium is inexhaustible, the air exhaust treatment is simple, the environment is not polluted, the cost is low, but there are special requirements for the application environment.
1. Components should not be used in places with explosive gases, corrosive gases, organic solvents and other chemicals, as well as in seawater, water and steam environment and places where the above substances are attached.
2. It can't be used in places with vibration and shock. If it is to be used in places with shock and vibration, then the vibration resistance and shock resistance of pneumatic components should conform to the requirements of product samples.
3. The use of components in places with direct sunlight should be shielded from sunlight by a protective cover. Do not use components in places where there are heat sources around which will be affected by thermal radiation. If they must be used in such places, measures must be taken to block the radiation heat. If it is used in places with oil and water droplets or even places with high humidity and dust, appropriate protective measures should also be taken.
4. Full pneumatic control of pneumatic components has the ability of fireproof, explosion-proof and moisture-proof. Compared with hydraulic mode, pneumatic mode can be used in high temperature situations. Because of the small loss of air flow, compressed air can be supplied centrally and transported over a long distance.
Components have high reliability, simple structure, simple use and maintenance, easy adjustment of output force and working speed, faster movement speed than hydraulic and electrical modes, and long service life. Air compressibility can be used to store energy and achieve centralized gas supply. By releasing energy in a short time, the telling response in intermittent motion can be obtained, and the buffer can be realized. It has strong adaptability to impact load or overload. Under certain conditions, it can make the starter self-sustaining.
When using pneumatic components in different occasions, we should pay attention to the way of use. If there is vibration or explosive gas, we should see whether the product is explosion-proof. If not, we should do a good job of protective measures.
