Function and application of dryer

After preliminary purification of compressed air through aftercooler, oil-water separator, air tank and main pipeline filter, there is still a certain amount of water vapor. Its content depends on the humidity, pressure and relative humidity of the air. For some compressed air pneumatic systems requiring higher quality, compressed air drying devices are also set in the air source system.
In industry, the common drying methods of compressed air are adsorption method, freezing method and membrane precipitation method.
Adsorption method: the adsorbent with adsorption performance is used to adsorb the water in the compressed air to achieve the purpose of drying the compressed air.
Freezing method: moist hot compressed air enters the outer cylinder of the exchanger to be preheated, and then flows into the inner cylinder to be cooled by the air cooler to the pressure dew point (2 ~ 10 ℃). In this process, the steam condenses into water droplets and is discharged through the automatic drainer.
