The performance parameters of the cylinder can be considered from the following aspects: transient characteristics, speed characteristics, theoretical output force, load rate, service pressure range, pressure performance, ambient temperature and medium temperature, leakage, durability and air consumption.

According to the required output force, the cylinder diameter is selected, and the theoretical output force can be obtained by checking the sample. According to the moving distance of the workpiece, select the stroke of the cylinder, select the standard stroke, which should be greater than the moving distance of the workpiece.

According to the purpose of use, cylinder diameter and stroke, select the cylinder series, according to the workpiece installation position, use method, determine the installation mode of the cylinder. The installation methods include basic type, corner seat type, flange type, earring type, trunnion type, etc. According to the needs of the application, choose the cushion form of the cylinder. Select the magnetic switch of the cylinder, select the relevant accessories of the cylinder, such as floating joint, elbow joint, etc.
