How to install and repair the solenoid valve?
Jun 08, 2021
(1) Installation
When installing, pay attention to the inflow of substances during work, and install according to the commodity circulation direction indicated by the arrow symbol on the oil circuit board.
The switching power supply standard of the power supply system shall be consistent with the requirements on the nameplate of the solenoid valve, such as communication with AC, DC, rated voltage, output power, etc. According to the control relay driver, the pairing between the two should be effective. The solenoid valve should be grounded to ensure safety.
The solenoid valve is equipped with a yellow spring, which can bear a certain level of vibration. It is OK to install it slightly vertically. All normal work, but it should be installed in an area with less vibration as much as possible, and installed vertically as much as possible.
When installing, pay attention to the connection position with the gate valve and the sealing of the gate valve itself to avoid leakage. In the workplace with corrosive substances, when installing outdoors, the necessary protective measures should be adopted to solve the problem of the gate valve.
(2) Overhaul
Solenoid valves for new pipeline construction should be purged before the application of the processing technology pipeline to eliminate residue, dirt, and weld penetration in the pipeline to prevent the gate valve from being blocked or stuck.
During the process shutdown period, when the solenoid valve is not needed, the manual shut-off valve in front of the gate valve should be turned off. If the shutdown time is too long, consider removing the solenoid valve for storage, otherwise the valve will be stuck inside the valve due to serious fouling of the processing technology pipeline. It is much easier and more positive to disassemble and store it carefully than to solve common faults when starting work.
It is also important to prepare the necessary spare parts in advance. Because the solenoid valve structure is not too complicated, it is not too difficult to solve common faults. The following are some common problems, such as:
When the power is connected but the solenoid valve is not working, check whether the wiring is normal, or check whether the solenoid coil is disconnected.
If the power supply gate valve cannot be opened, check whether the bonnet screws are loose. If this common failure occurs after the valve cover gasket is removed, check whether the gasket is too thick, too thin, or the problem caused by the inconsistent level of screw tightness. Then check whether the valve plug is stuck. If there is a pilot valve, check whether the pilot valve is blocked.
After turning off the power, the gate valve cannot be closed. First, check whether the valve plug is stuck and whether the pilot valve is blocked.
The gate valve has been closed, but it is still closed. There are still working substances leaking. The most important thing is to check whether the sealing gasket of the valve plug is damaged and whether the high-pressure gate valve is loose.
