1.Understanding cylinder seals

Composition of cylinder seal:

①. Piston rod seal:

Dust proof of piston rod + sealing of piston rod (two in one are commonly used), buffer of piston rod and guide support ring of piston rod;

②. Piston seal:

Piston seal (generally 2 U-shaped), piston guide ring (generally 1, located in the middle of two piston seals), buffer at the end of piston;

③. Other static seals, seal rings and static parts are called static seals.

2、 Common problems of cylinder sealing in use

①. Internal and external leakage of cylinder

This kind of problem is generally caused by eccentric installation of piston rod, insufficient supply of lubricating oil, wear or damage of sealing ring and sealing ring, impurities in cylinder and scars on piston rod.

②. The output force of the cylinder is insufficient and the action is not stable

This problem is usually caused by the piston or piston rod being stuck, poor lubrication, insufficient air supply, or condensate and impurities in the cylinder

③. Poor cushion effect of cylinder

This problem is usually caused by the wear of buffer seal ring or the damage of adjusting screw

④. The piston rod and cylinder head of the cylinder are damaged

This kind of problem is generally caused by the eccentric installation of the piston rod or the failure of the buffer mechanism.

3、 How to maintain the cylinder seal

①. Keep the cylinder clean

②. Check the piston rod and sealing ring frequently for impurities and damage, and replace them in time

③. Regularly check whether the oil mist eliminator is blocked and out of order
