The goal of backwashing of pipeline filters is to remove the sludge accumulated in the filter layer and restore the filter capacity. Therefore, the quality of backwashing will affect the filtration efficiency.
The water distribution of pipeline filter is uniform. When the filter is running or backwashing, the water of the filter must be uniformly allocated along all filter sections without bias flow, otherwise the filtering effect will be affected.
Therefore, the water distribution system has a great influence on the operation of the filter of the pipeline filter. It should be designed reasonably and installed properly, and it should be checked and maintained frequently to keep it in good condition.
