Installation of explosion-proof, waterproof and anti-corrosion solenoid valve
Jul 13, 2021
Before installing the explosion-proof solenoid valve, pay special attention to whether the explosives in the solenoid valve installation site are consistent with the valve manual. When installing, pay attention to protect the explosion-proof surface on the explosion-proof body, and avoid bumping or scratching during disassembly and assembly. The assembled explosion-proof surface should be coated with butter to prevent rust. Fasteners must be tightened and not loosened. The connection and installation of the lead wires must strictly abide by the relevant regulations for electrical installation in places containing explosive mixtures. The lead wire uses a three-core cable, one of which is used for grounding, regardless of the voltage level, the shell must be grounded. Some explosion-proof valves must be grounded at two locations inside and outside, and must not be omitted. The outer diameter of the cable should be the same as the inner diameter of the sealing ring. If the cable is too thin, the seal is not tight, and the cable cannot be penetrated if it is too thick.
The solenoid head of the waterproof solenoid valve is sealed, which is similar in appearance to the explosion-proof solenoid valve. Pay attention to the difference between them when installing, and make no mistake. Teflon plastic solenoid valve has good anti-corrosion performance, but poor mechanical performance. Do not use excessive force when taking over the pipe to prevent damage to the threaded port.
