Introduction to the Characteristics and Advantages of Rodless Cylinder

No piston rod cylinder features:

  1. Only one end of the air intake, simple structure, small air consumption.

  2. By resetting with spring force or diaphragm force, part of compressed air energy is used to overcome spring force or diaphragm tension, thus reducing the output force of piston rod.

  3. Installation of springs and diaphragms in the cylinder generally has a shorter stroke; compared with the same volume of double-acting cylinders, the effective stroke is smaller.

  4. The tension of cylinder reset spring and diaphragm varies with the deformation, so the output force of piston rod varies in the course of moving.

The technical advantages of rodless cylinder: rodless cylinder is a very promising pneumatic component. The main characteristics of rodless cylinder are small area, light weight, especially suitable for large range of travel and limited space.

Advantages of rodless cylinder:

  1.  Axial occupancy space is reduced by half than that of ordinary cylinder, especially in the case of long stroke and short installation distance.

  2. The cylinder relies on the coupling of the magnetic ring on the piston and the magnetic ring on the outer sleeve of the cylinder to transmit the force.

  3.  The structure is simple and the installation is convenient.
