Sliding column directional valve
Jun 15, 2021
Sliding column directional valve is a cylinder with a shoulder, which moves along its axial direction in the valve body hole (or tubular valve sleeve) to realize the opening and closing of gas path.
Sliding column directional valve (usually called "slide valve") has the following characteristics:
1) Because the structure of the valve core is symmetrical, it is easy to achieve the memory function. That is to say, the control model disappears and the original position of the valve core remains unchanged.
2) When switching, it is not affected by the back pressure resistance on the cut-off valve core, so the reversing force is small and the action is sensitive.
3) It is universal. The same basic model can be changed into different control modes if only a few parts are replaced.
4) The reversing stroke of the valve core is longer than that of the stop valve, so the sliding column structure is not suitable for the valve with large diameter.
5) The sliding part needs to be processed closely, so the requirement of gas source treatment is high.
