Solenoid valve operating voltage: AC and DC

DC solenoid valve: refers to the solenoid valve that uses direct current, generally all 24v;
AC solenoid valve: a solenoid valve that only uses AC power, which can immediately apply 220v switching power supply.
Advantages and disadvantages of solenoid valve DC coil and AC coil:
1. The AC solenoid valve is powered by AC, and the stability of the power supply is poor, so it can only be used in general control loops. The DC solenoid valve is a DC power supply with good power supply stability and is used for key control loops.
2. The response rate of AC is faster, and the response of DC is not as fast as that of AC.
3. The DC is small in size and reliable in work. The allowable switching frequency is 120 times/min. The commutation impact is small and the service life is long. But the operating force is smaller than that of an AC solenoid.
The pull-in current of the DC coil is stable from beginning to end, while the pull-in current of the AC coil is much higher than the holding current. Therefore, the DC coil is generally used in the venues with higher output power, and the AC coil is generally used in the venues with lower output power. Whether it is a solenoid valve or a car relay.
If the valve core of the general AC solenoid valve is stuck, the coil will be broken. It is not easy if it is DC.
