What does the position and connection of the solenoid valve represent?

Several-way: If classified according to the number of switching ports of the valve (including input port, output port, exhaust port), there are two-way valve, three-way valve, four-way valve, five-way valve, etc.
Several positions: The working position of the spool is referred to as "position", and the spool has several working (switching) positions to become a several-position valve. A valve with three working positions on the spool becomes a three-position valve. When the spool is in the middle position , Each port is closed, it is called intermediate closed type, each output port is connected to the exhaust port, it is an intermediate pressure relief type, if the output port is connected to the input port, it is called an intermediate pressure type.
The "pass" and "position" of the solenoid valve, "pass" and "position" are important concepts of pneumatic reversing solenoid valves. Different "pass" and "position" constitute different types of pneumatic reversing solenoid valves. Generally speaking The "two-position valve" and "three-position valve" means that the spool of the directional valve has two or three different working positions.
The so-called "two-way valve", "three-way valve" and "four-way valve" refer to the valve body of the reversing valve with two, three, and four that are not connected and can be connected to different oil pipes or gases in the system. The interface between different oil passages/air passages can only be communicated through the switch of the valve port when the spool is shifted.
The meanings of graphic symbols are generally as follows:
(1) Use a box to indicate the working position of the valve. There are a few boxes to indicate how many "positions";
(2) The arrow in the box indicates that the gas path is connected, but the direction of the arrow does not necessarily indicate the actual direction of gas flow;
(3) The symbol "┻" or "┳" in the box indicates that the path is blocked;
(4) How many interfaces are connected to the outside of the box, it means how many "connected".
