Advantages of single acting cylinder

Definition of single acting cylinder:

The structure of the single acting cylinder is that one side of the piston is equipped with a spring to make the piston rod return, the other side of the cylinder head spring is equipped with a breathing hole, preferably with a filter. In addition, other structures are basically the same as the double acting cylinder. The force of single acting cylinder to reset the piston rod can be spring, self weight or external air pressure.

There are two types of single acting cylinders:

Single acting cylinder only has push stroke in one direction, and there are preshrinking type and pre stretching type. The preshrinking type is to push the piston by compressed air, so that the piston rod extends out, and the piston rod returns by the reset force. The pre stretching type is to push the piston by compressed air to make the piston rod return and extend the piston rod by the reset force.

These cylinders can also be made into double acting cylinders.
