Brief introduction of commonly used terms of solenoid valve

Solenoid valve two-way and three-way means that there are two or three channel ports on the valve body of the solenoid valve; for example, two-way two-way solenoid valve is one in one out (two channels, the most common); solenoid valve two-way means that the valve core of the solenoid valve has two different working positions (on and off). The control liquid of two position three-way solenoid valve is one in two out (two out are one normally open and one normally closed); the pneumatic reversing solenoid valve is one in one out one exhaust; the hydraulic one in one out one return oil.

The solenoid valve is used to realize the on-off of the liquid circuit or the change of the direction of the liquid flow in the liquid circuit system. It generally has a valve core which can slide under the electromagnetic force of the coil. When the valve core is at different positions, the path of the solenoid valve is different. There are several working positions of the valve element, and the solenoid valve is called several position solenoid valve: the interface on the valve body, that is, the number of paths of the solenoid valve, and there are several intersections, and the solenoid valve is called several way solenoid valve.

After the installation of the solenoid valve, generally all interfaces should be connected. The so-called working position refers to the position of the valve core. The valve core is in position a when the coil is not energized, and position B when the coil is energized. When the valve core is in different positions, it plays a role of connecting or sealing each interface.
