Characteristics of one-way valve

The one-way valve is a directional control valve in which the air flow can only flow in one direction but not in the opposite direction. Its working principle is the same as that of hydraulic check valve. Compressed air enters from port P, overcomes the spring force and friction to open the check valve port, and the compressed air flows from port p to port a; When there is no compressed air at port P, under the action of spring force and residual air force at port a (cavity); The valve port is closed so that the air flow from a to p is blocked. The one-way valve shall be used where the reverse flow of air flow is not allowed. For example, when the air compressor inflates the air tank, a one-way valve shall be set between the air compressor and the air tank to prevent the compressed air in the air tank from returning to the air compressor when the air compressor stops working. Check valves are often combined with throttle valves and sequence valves to form one-way throttle valves and one-way sequence valves.
