Five characteristics of pneumatic ball valve

Pneumatic ball valve is evolved from stop valve. It has the same 90 degree rotation lifting action, the difference is that the plug body is a sphere, with a circular through-hole or channel through its axis. The ratio between the sphere and the passage port should be such that when the sphere rotates 90 degrees, the sphere should be present at the inlet and outlet, so as to cut off the flow. The working principle of pneumatic ball valve is to make the valve unblocked or blocked by rotating the valve. Pneumatic ball valve has the advantages of light switch, small volume, large caliber, reliable sealing, simple structure, convenient maintenance, sealing surface and spherical surface are often closed, not easy to be eroded by medium, so it is widely used in various industries. Pneumatic ball valve and plug valve belong to the same type of valve, only its closing part is a ball, and the ball rotates around the center line of the valve body to open and close a valve.


1、 The switch is quick and convenient, which can meet the requirements of fast opening and fast closing of high-altitude concealed passage for pipeline.


2、 The fluid resistance is small, no matter it is full bore reducing ball valve, it is the smallest one among all kinds of valves.


3、 Reliable valve seat seal, common ball seal rings are made of tetrafluoroethylene and other polymer materials with good plasticity. In places with high requirements for seal, soft seal is easier to ensure seal.


4、 Reliable stem sealing, the back sealing structure of the stem can be increased with the increase of the medium. When the ball valve is opened and closed, the stem only rotates without lifting. The sealing packing of the valve rod is not easy to be damaged. The sealing life of the valve rod is greatly extended.


5、 Long service life, pneumatic device in destructive test more than 60000. Because the sealing parts of ball valve are made of polytetrafluoroethylene and other materials with good self-lubricating property, the friction and wear between ball valve and valve rod are minimum, ensuring the service life of valve.
