How to choose the type of cylinder in industrial automation equipment?

In today's highly developed industrial automation, ordinary and simple mechanized production has been replaced by automation, the use and application of cylinders are more and more widely, and its efficiency and accuracy of operation are recognized. Cylinder is an actuator that converts the pressure energy of compressed air into mechanical energy, which makes the driving mechanism move in a straight line reciprocating, swinging and rotating motion.

In general industrial production, fixed cylinders are often used; rotary cylinders are often used when continuous rotation with working mechanism is required (such as lathe, grinder, etc.); axle pin cylinders are used when linear motion of piston rod is required and large arc swing of cylinder is required; only swing to and fro within 360 ~180 ~C is required. When choosing single or double blade swing cylinder, special cylinder and combined cylinder should be selected for special requirements.

The exhaust throttle is recommended when the cylinder is used to push the load; if the vertical cylinder is used to lift the weight, the cylinder with buffer device is selected.

Single-acting cylinders can be considered in situations where the cylinder output, speed and stroke are not high, or where there is no hidden danger of safety accidents caused by power failure (positioning and clamping, etc.). In other cases, double-acting cylinders are generally used. Series supercharged cylinders can be used for large power, and cylinders with guide rods or slide tables can be used for precise motion. There are many types of cylinders with different adaptations, such as thin CQ2 series with limited space, and CU series with free installation can be installed in several directions.

Generally, single-acting cylinder is equipped with two three-way solenoid valves. If two five-way solenoid valves are used, the corresponding solenoid valves only need one outlet and the other is sealed; double-acting cylinder is equipped with two five-way solenoid valves.
