What is a slide cylinder? What are the characteristics and working principles?

Generally, slider cylinder is driven by compressed air, and the linear movement of slider is realized by the combined transmission of precision ball and linear slide rail.

The working principle of the pneumatic sliding table: the cylinder on the fixed die is fed into compressed air, and the guide rod is driven by one end of the cylinder to the opposite direction. The driving stroke depends on the length of the guide rod.

Slide cylinder characteristics:

1. Compact integration of sliding platform cylinder worktable and cylinder;

2. Precision cylinder is suitable for pneumatic sliding table for precision assembly.

3. High rigidity/high precision, optional with adjustable travel device (0-5mm);

4. The sliding platform cylinder adopts cross ball guide rail, which has low friction and can achieve smooth motion without loosening.

5. Combining the cylinder with the worktable, the overall size is reduced.

6. Double cylinder structure is adopted to obtain twice the output force.

7. Built-in magnetic ring type, magnetic switch can be installed.

8. Pneumatic slider cylinder is generally used as the transport of precision instruments, with high accuracy.

In industrial applications, pneumatic sliding table not only needs good rigidity and repetitive precision, but also its durability, labor-saving characteristics and load capacity are important parameters in design and application. When choosing the type of slide table cylinder, we should pay attention to the pressure, cylinder diameter, stroke, working environment, rod end connection mode, cylinder block fixing mode, interface size and position, sealing requirement, cushioning requirement, installation space limitation, load and other factors and parameters in order to select the most suitable slide table cylinder
