Pneumatic system requirements for compressed air
Aug 26, 2019
■ Compressed air discharged from an air compressor cannot be used directly:
The compressed air contains a certain amount of water, oil and dust. After compression, the temperature of the air is as high as 140 ° C ~ 170 ° C, and some water and oil have become gaseous.
Oil mist in compressed air may accumulate in the tank of gas storage tanks, pipelines, and pneumatic systems to form flammable materials, which may cause great harm to pneumatic systems.
Deteriorated lubricating oil will deteriorate rubber, plastic and sealing materials, block small holes, and cause valve malfunction
■ Do not use compressed air that is contaminated with harmful gases (eg, acids, bases, etc.).
■ Purified compressed air must be used:
General mechanical and general pneumatic circuit filtration <50μm
Logic element, jet element, air motor, etc. filter <10μm
Filtration of food, medicine, electronics, tobacco and alcohol, air bearings, etc. <5μm
