Precautions for use of pneumatic cylinder

①、 Precautions for pneumatic cylinder before use

1. First use clean and dry compressed air. The air shall not contain synthetic oil, salt, corrosive gas, etc. of organic solvent to prevent poor action of cylinder and valve. Before installation, the connecting piping shall be fully purged, and do not bring dust, chip dust, sealing belt fragments and other impurities into the cylinder and valve.

2. At the installation site of the pneumatic cylinder, the chip dust of the drilling hole shall be prevented from mixing from the air inlet of the pneumatic cylinder. If the foot seat pneumatic cylinder has a positioning hole on the foot seat, it can be used for positioning and fixing.

3. When the distance h between the mounting surface of trunnion bearing support and bearing is large, it shall be noted that the mounting screws on the mounting surface shall not be damaged due to too much force.

②、 Matters needing attention in the use of pneumatic cylinder

1. In the environment of strong magnetic field, pneumatic cylinder with automatic switch with strong magnetic field shall be selected.

2. If the ambient temperature and medium temperature of pneumatic cylinder exceed - 10-60 ℃ with magnetic switch and - 10-70 ℃ without magnetic switch, anti freezing or heat-resistant measures shall be taken.

3. The standard pneumatic cylinder shall not be used in the fog with corrosion or the fog with bubble expansion of the sealing ring.

4. Generally, the piston rod can only bear axial load. Avoid applying lateral and eccentric loads on the piston rod. When there is transverse load, a guide device shall be added to the piston rod, or a cylinder with guide rod shall be selected. When the cylinder is stressed heavily, the installation platform of the pneumatic cylinder shall be provided with measures to prevent loosening, deformation and your reply.

③、 Precautions for pneumatic cylinder after use (cylinder maintenance)

1. The sliding parts of cylinder barrel and piston rod shall not be damaged to prevent air leakage caused by poor action of pneumatic cylinder and damage to piston rod sealing ring.

2. Appropriate maintenance and adjustment space shall be reserved at the buffer valve, and appropriate installation and adjustment space shall be reserved for magnetic switch, etc.

3. If the pneumatic cylinder is not used for a long time, it shall be operated once a month and coated with oil to prevent rust. The commonly used oil feeding and non oil feeding pneumatic cylinders cannot be used as gas-liquid cylinders to prevent oil leakage.
