Safe operation - installation instructions of solenoid valve

1. Read the product manual carefully before installation, check whether the product meets the requirements of use, remember the installation points and prepare for the work.

2. Check whether the parameters marked on the nameplate are consistent with the parameters of the selected products. The power supply voltage shall meet the range of rated voltage and voltage fluctuation: AC +10% ～-15%, DC +10% ～-10%. The coil components should not be disassembled at ordinary times.

3. Before the solenoid valve nozzle, the pipe shall be washed with pressure of 0.3MPa, and the metal powder, the residue of sealing material and rust scale in the pipeline shall be removed.

4. Pay attention to the cleanliness of the medium. If dust and impurities are mixed in the medium, which hinder the normal operation of the solenoid valve, the filter screen of the filter valve shall be installed in the pipeline for more than 60 mesh.

5. The solenoid valve should not be installed in the low concave part of the pipeline, and it should be installed in the discharge pipe of the container. It should be noted that it should not be led out from the bottom of the vessel, but should be installed at the bottom of the vessel slightly higher.

6. If the medium will be water hammer phenomenon, then the solenoid valve with water hammer function or corresponding preventive measures shall be adopted.

7. The inlet side of the solenoid valve for steam shall be equipped with drain valve, where the connecting pipe shall be inclined.

8. The solenoid valve is generally directional and cannot be installed reversely. It is usually used to indicate the direction of medium flow in the valve body. It is required to install in the direction indicated by "→" during installation, except that the company may propose reverse installation in vacuum pipeline or special circumstances.

9. Installation position: the solenoid coil parts of general solenoid valve shall be vertical upward and vertically installed on the pipeline horizontal to the ground. If the pipeline or inverted installation must be carried out according to the space limitation or working condition requirements, please put forward in the selection and ordering. Some products have special regulations. Please install them according to the instructions.

10. When connecting pipe, it is noted that the sealing material cannot be used excessively. If the thread is connected, the nozzle thread shall be kept within the effective length, and the sealing belt shall be wound with a file at the half pitch of the end. The sealing belt shall be wound at the two teeth from the end, otherwise, the excessive sealing belt or adhesive will enter the inner cavity of the solenoid valve, and the normal action will be hindered.

11. There should be some reserved space for the installation of solenoid valve for daily maintenance and regular maintenance.

12. When installing, fix the valve body with wrench or pipe clamp, and screw on the connecting pipe. Never apply the force on the solenoid assembly and cause deformation, which makes it difficult for the solenoid valve to work normally.

13. If the pipe rigidity is insufficient or there is water hammer, please fix the front and rear connecting pipes of the valve with support.

14. When used in frozen places, the pipes shall be protected with insulation or heaters shall be provided on the pipes.

15. To confirm whether the solenoid valve itself and its connection with the connecting pipe are leaking.

16. The connection of coil leads shall be checked, especially in the case of three leads.

17. Electrical components connected to solenoid valves, such as relays, switches and contactors. When opening the valve, the contact should not vibrate, otherwise, the work will be unreliable and affect the life of the solenoid valve.

18. The electrical circuit shall be connected with the corresponding fuse line as the protection of the electrical circuit.
