The media temperatures for different valve body and bonnet materials are as follows:


Suitable for medium for malleable cast iron body and bonnets up to 300 °C.


Ductile iron body and bonnet are suitable for media up to 350 °C.


The high silicon cast iron body and bonnet are suitable for media up to 120 °C.


When the valve lining is made of rubber or plastic, the temperature resistance of rubber and plastic shall prevail.


Ceramic and glass valves, which have poor temperature and temperature resistance, are generally used below 90 °C.

Medium for plastic valve body and bonnet Maximum use temperature: nylon 100 ° C, chlorinated polyether 100 ° C, polyvinyl chloride 60 ° C, polychlorotrifluoroethylene -60 ~ 120 ° C, polytetrafluoroethylene - 180 ~ 150 ° C .


Rubber diaphragm valves depend on the type of rubber, natural rubber 60 ° C; nitrile rubber, neoprene 80 ° C; fluoro rubber 150 ° C.
