Some points to be seen when using the cylinder of pneumatic components

When using the air cylinder, the requirements for air quality are very high. Clean and dry compressed air shall be used. The air shall not contain synthetic oil, salt, corrosive gas, etc. of organic solvent, so as to prevent the bad action of the air cylinder and valve.

Before the installation of pneumatic components, the connecting piping shall be fully purged, and impurities such as dust, chips, sealing belt fragments, etc. shall not be brought into the cylinder valve. Where there is much dust, water drop and oil drop, the rod side shall be equipped with a telescopic protective sleeve, which shall not be twisted during installation. When the expansion protective sleeve cannot be used, the air cylinder with strong dust ring or water-proof air cylinder shall be selected.

The standard cylinder shall not be used in the corrosive fog or the fog that causes the sealing ring to bubble. The cylinder for oil lubrication should be equipped with an oil atomizer with reasonable flow, and the cylinder should not be lubricated with oil. Because the cylinder is pre lubricated with grease, it can be used for a long time. This kind of cylinder can also be used for oil supply, but once the oil is supplied, the oil supply shall not be stopped, because the pre greasing may have been washed out, and the failure to supply oil will cause poor operation of the cylinder.

The installation site of the cylinder of pneumatic components shall prevent the drilling chip from mixing into the air inlet of the cylinder. The cylinder shall not be used as a gas-liquid combined cylinder to prevent oil leakage. The sliding parts of cylinder barrel and piston rod shall not be damaged, so as to prevent air leakage caused by bad action of cylinder and damage of piston rod sealing ring. Appropriate maintenance and adjustment space shall be reserved at buffer valve, and appropriate installation and adjustment space shall be reserved for magnetic switch, etc. If the air cylinder is not used for a long time, it should be operated once a month, and coated with oil to prevent rust.
