For the disassembly and inspection of failed cylinders, it is found that the failure of most cylinders is mainly seal ring failure, gluing or lip wear. It is judged that the failure of the sealing ring is caused by the high working temperature.


Difference between high temperature jaw cylinder and ordinary cylinder:


1. Selection of sealing ring.


After selecting the correct sealing ring, the working life of the cylinder is improved and the effect is obvious. Sort out the following contents according to the characteristics and applicable temperature of the sealing ring:


Nitrile rubber: good wear resistance, heat resistance, wear resistance and corrosion resistance. Applicable temperature: - 30-100 ℃. It is widely used in dynamic and static seals of hydraulic and pneumatic systems.


Fluororubber: high temperature resistance, oil resistance, vacuum resistance, resistance to various chemicals, excellent performance; It has poor low temperature characteristics, large compression deformation, high price, low mechanical strength and poor processability. Applicable temperature: - 30 ℃ - 200 ℃, suitable for sealing of high temperature and special media.


2. Selection of lubricating oil:


The lubricating oil of ordinary cylinder will soften automatically under high temperature, resulting in abnormal operation of cylinder. Therefore, high temperature resistant cylinder generally adopts high temperature resistant lubricating oil to maintain the solid state of lubricating oil under high temperature environment, reduce friction and prolong the operation life of cylinder.


Applicable environment of high-temperature finger cylinder: different from ordinary finger cylinder, high-temperature jaw cylinder can be used in high-temperature environment of heating furnace related equipment, electrolytic cell related equipment, chemical industry and other related fields.
