What is the difference between ASCO solenoid valve normally open and normally closed
Apr 02, 2020
The working principle of the normally open ASCO solenoid valve is to energize the coil and connect the air circuit. Once the coil is de-energized, the gas path will be disconnected. The working principle of the normally closed ASCO solenoid valve is to energize the coil and disconnect the air circuit. As soon as the coil is de-energized, the gas path is switched on.
Usually choose according to the length of continuous working time: normally closed, normally open or continuous power. When high temperature
The ASCO solenoid valve needs to be opened for a long time, and when it is not required to be closed continuously, the normally open type should be selected. When the opening and closing time is short or the opening and closing time is not long, select the normally closed type. However, some safety protection working conditions, such as furnace kiln flame monitoring, cannot select the normally open state, and should choose long-term power supply.
ASCO solenoid valve mainly uses electricity as the energy source. Electric current generates electromagnetic force by driving the electromagnetic coil, and the electromagnetic force controls the valve by controlling the spring magnetic column level gauge. Of course, this spring can be used to control both the closing valve and the opening valve. Therefore, based on this characteristic, we can open the gas circuit when the coil is not energized. This is a normally closed valve. It can also open the coil when the coil is not energized. This is a normally open valve.
Usually choose according to the length of continuous working time: normally closed, normally open, continuous power; when the ASCO solenoid valve needs to be opened for a long time, and the time is longer than the closing time, the normally open type should be used. If the opening and closing time is short or the opening and closing time is short, select the normally closed type. However, for some safety protection working conditions, such as furnace and kiln flame monitoring, the normally open state cannot be selected, and the long-term power-on state should be selected.
