What is the indispensable air source device in most pneumatic systems

The air source processor consists of air filter, pressure reducing valve and oil mist eliminator. Some brands of solenoid valve and cylinder can realize oil-free lubrication (realize lubrication function by lubricating grease), so oil mist eliminator is not needed! The filtering degree is generally 50-75 μ m, and the pressure regulating range is 0.5-10mpa. If the filtering accuracy is 5-10 μ m, 10-20 μ m, 25-40 μ m, and the pressure regulating is 0.05-0.3mpa, 0.05-1mpa, the three pieces of components without pipe connection are called triplets. The three parts are indispensable air source devices in most pneumatic systems. They are installed near the gas equipment and are the final guarantee of compressed air quality.


The installation sequence of the three parts is air filter, pressure reducing valve and oil mist atomizer according to the air inlet direction. The combination of air filter and pressure reducing valve can be called pneumatic two-piece. Air filter and pressure reducing valve can also be assembled together to become a filter pressure reducing valve (the function is the same as that of air filter and pressure reducing valve). In some cases, it is not allowed to have oil mist in the compressed air, so it is necessary to use oil mist separator to filter the oil mist in the compressed air. All in all, these components can be selected according to the needs and can be combined for use.


The air filter is used to clean the air source. It can filter the moisture in the compressed air and avoid the moisture entering the device with the gas. The pressure reducing valve can stabilize the air source, keep the air source in a constant state, and reduce the damage to the valve or actuator and other hardware due to the sudden change of air pressure of the air source. The filter is used to clean the air source, which can filter the water in the compressed air and prevent the water from entering the device with the gas. The oil atomizer can lubricate the moving parts of the engine body, and can lubricate the parts that are not convenient to add lubricating oil, thus greatly extending the service life of the engine body.


There are two ways of filter drainage: differential pressure drainage and manual drainage. In manual drainage, the water must be discharged before the water level reaches the level below the filter element. When adjusting the pressure, please pull up and then rotate the knob before turning it. Press down the knob for positioning. Turn the knob to the right to increase the outlet pressure, and to the left to decrease the outlet pressure. When adjusting the pressure, adjust it gradually and evenly to the required pressure value, and do not adjust it in place in one step. Usage of oil feeder: JIS k2231 oil delivery (ISO vg32 or equivalent oil) is used for oil feeder. Please don't fill the cup more than eight. The number 0 is the minimum oil quantity and 9 is the maximum oil quantity. It cannot rotate from 9-0 position, it must rotate clockwise.
