International Conference On Transmission And Control Of Rotating Machinery 2019
Aug 07, 2019
From July 20 to 21, 2019, "International Conference on Rotating Machinery Transmission and Control 2019" (RMTC2019) was successfully held in Beijing Friendship Hotel. The conference is sponsored by the China Institute of Mechanical Engineering, Beijing University of Technology, China Institute of Mechanical Engineering Fluid Drive and Control Branch, Key Laboratory of Vehicle Drive, Beijing University of Technology-University of Virginia Rotary Machinery Joint Laboratory, School of Machinery and Vehicle, High-end Construction Machinery and Core Zero. The Parts Industry Technological Innovation Strategic Alliance was co-sponsored, and the conference was also strongly supported by China Hydraulic Pneumatic and Sealing Industry Association. This conference is the first international conference sponsored by the Beijing Polytechnic University-University of Virginia Rotating Machinery Joint Laboratory. It invites well-known experts and outstanding enterprise representatives from home and abroad in the fields of rotating machinery, transmission system and control to gather together to discuss in depth the key basic theory and technology of rotating machinery and promote related fields. International academic exchanges provide a platform for academic and business exchanges, promote the integration of industry, education and research, and enhance China's international visibility in the field of fluid machinery, transmission and control. More than 20 well-known foreign experts and scholars were invited and more than 200 participants were invited.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Feng Huihua, Vice-Dean of the School of Machinery and Vehicle, Beijing University of Technology. Professor Xiang Changle, Vice-President of Beijing University of Technology, Professor Jiao Zongxia, Chairman of the Fluid Transmission and Control Branch of China Mechanical Engineering Society, and Professor Houston Wood, Director of the Rotating Machinery and Control Laboratory, University of Virginia, delivered the opening ceremony respectively. Opening speech.
The conference invited famous scholars from home and abroad to give keynote reports, including Professor Karsten Stahl of Munich University of Technology, Germany, Professor Houston G. Wood of University of Virginia, Professor Fan Chaoyang of Texas University of Technology, Professor Wang Shaoping of Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, and Dmitriy of Moscow National Baumann University of Technology. Associate Professor Butarovich and Associate Professor Wei Wei of Beijing University of Technology. Representatives of well-known enterprises in the field of rotating machinery and rotor dynamics were also invited to give keynote reports, including senior director of Norbert Holscher, RENK Corporation of Germany, president of Hunter Cloud, BRG Company of the United States, and chief executive of Zhou Guangming, North Vehicle Research Institute. The keynote report includes the design theory of hydraulic, hydraulic, sealing, bearing and other basic components, as well as the frontier research hotspots of high-performance batteries, rotor dynamics, high-speed gears, etc. The scene atmosphere is lively and warm, and the excellent report of experts and scholars has aroused extensive heated discussion among the participants.
On the afternoon of July 20 and 21, academic exchanges will be held on four topics: vehicle transmission and control, fluid transmission and control, rotor dynamics and control, bearing and seal. A total of 131 papers were collected from Tsinghua University, Zhejiang University, Beijing University of Technology, Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics, Shanghai Jiaotong University, Jilin University, Tongji University, Xi'an Jiaotong University, Hunan University, Chongqing University, Central South University, Yanshan University and other well-known institutions and research institutes in various professional fields. Seventy-eight of them were selected by the committee to give lectures at the conference venue. The atmosphere of the conference venue was very active, attracting representatives of scholars from 41 Institutes of higher learning and representatives of Liugong, Xugong and Shantui enterprises to participate in the exchange of reports. In addition to academic exchanges, a Rotary Machinery and Control International Industrial Consortium (ROMAC) forum was held on the afternoon of July 20. ROMAC is an industrial alliance established under the leadership of the Rotating Machinery and Control Laboratory of the University of Virginia. It has been established for more than 40 years and enjoys a high international reputation and influence in the fields of rotor dynamics, bearings and seals. Its membership system is adopted, and its members come from leading enterprises in different countries such as the United States, Germany, Japan and China. At present, ROMAC has 40 members from industry and academia, including leading industrial enterprises such as General Electric of the United States, Pratt & Whitney, Siemens of Germany, Renk, Mitsubishi of Japan, ANSYS, MSC Software, etc. Dassault Systemes SIMULIA and other pioneers in the simulation software industry, as well as Tsinghua University, Beijing University of Technology and other top institutions in the industry. The ROMAC Forum was strongly supported by the China Hydraulic Pneumatic and Sealing Industry Association. Vice President Cheng Xiaoxia and President Cong Liming of the Hydraulic Branch led the directors and members of the industry to listen to the introduction of ROMAC and its cooperation mode, and made a thorough discussion on the cooperation between the two sides.
The conference ended smoothly on the evening of July 21, 2019. The Vice-Chairman of the Conference Procedure Committee, Professor Yan Qingdong of Beijing University of Technology and Professor Houston Wood of the University of Virginia delivered closing speeches respectively. At the same time, the Academic Committee of the Conference selected 11 excellent papers based on the quality of articles and performance of speeches. The Organizing Committee of the Conference issued a certificate of honor.
