Sealing Ring Specifications And Working Principle Of Different Parts In Pneumatic Cylinder
May 28, 2019
Pneumatic Cylinder's seals are divided into dynamic seals (slewing or reciprocating component seals) and static seals (seal seals on stationary parts). The requirement for the seal is to ensure the seal and the sliding friction is small. Pneumatic Cylinder commonly used sealing components in two categories, one is a compression seal and the other is a pneumatic seal.
The first major category of Pneumatic Cylinder seals: compression seals
When the compression sealing ring puts the sealing ring into the sealing groove, there is a certain amount of pre-compression, and the leakage surface is blocked by the contact surface pressure on the sealing surface, such as an O-shaped and a square sealing ring.
The second major category of Pneumatic Cylinder seals: pneumatic seals
The air pressure seal seals the lip of the seal against the seal surface by air pressure to ensure a seal, such as a lip seal. See the figure below for the principle and characteristics of the seal seal. The commonly used sealing materials are nitrile rubber and polyurethane.
The seal connecting the cylinder head and the cylinder tube is generally installed in the groove of the cylinder head and the cylinder tube by an O-ring; sometimes a flat washer such as rubber is placed on the connection port to form a flat seal.
