The Ningbo Council For The Promotion Of International Trade Held Some Corporate Symposiums

In order to in-depth publicize the free trade agreement signed by our country and promote enterprises to make good use of the rules, the Municipal Council for the Promotion of International Trade held a symposium for some enterprises in our city on the morning of May 25. The symposium specially invited more than 40 experts, scholars and business representatives, including the director of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade Commercial Certification Center Yan Yun, university research teams, various local branches of the trade promotion system, and some enterprises in Ningbo to participate in the symposium. Xu Guangxian, party secretary and chairman of Ningbo Council for the Promotion of International Trade, attended the meeting and delivered a speech.

President Xu pointed out that my country has signed 19 Free Trade Agreements (FTA) with 26 countries or regions. The high-standard free trade agreement represented by the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement (RCEP) is becoming a driving force for the global economy. The main engine of development is playing an increasingly important role in responding to trade frictions, protectionism, unilateralism, and helping to stabilize domestic foreign trade and foreign investment. Companies in our city should take this opportunity to further apply the preferential policies of their respective trade agreements to corporate tariff planning and global industrial layout, resolve current trade frictions and uncertainties caused by the epidemic, open up a diversified international market, and help the country’s domestic The construction of a new pattern of international dual-cycle development.
