Selection of pneumatic reversing valve
Dec 04, 2019
Pneumatic directional valve is a control element in pneumatic system, which is used to control the flow direction of fluid in the system. There are many types of pneumatic directional valve. Users can choose according to their own needs.
The common types of reversing valve are as follows:
According to the air outlet: two-way, three-way, four-way and five-way;
According to the working position: two and three.
According to the control mode: pneumatic control and electric control, direct acting type and pilot type;
According to the controlled medium: fluid valve and gas valve;
According to functions: normally closed and normally open, middle seal and middle drain, and middle air supply;
According to the structure: there are stop valve and slide valve;
When purchasing pneumatic reversing valve, the following points should be paid attention to:
1. Thread interface of reversing valve: the nominal diameter of reversing valve does not correspond to the thread of air port one by one. Therefore, attention shall be paid to the thread of interface when selecting reversing valve.
2. Installation dimension of reversing valve: the shape and installation dimension of reversing valve with the same model and function are different due to different manufacturers.
3. Check whether the reversing action is crisp and not sloppy.
4. Pay attention to the insulation performance of solenoid valve, especially AC solenoid valve. To ensure the personal safety of the operator.
5. The reversing valve shall be free of external leakage, and the smaller the internal leakage is, the better. Otherwise, it will affect the normal operation of the system and waste energy.
6. Pay attention to the delivery date of the valve. If the reversing valve is put for too long, its lubricating grease will age and affect the normal operation of the reversing valve.
