Classification of rodless cylinder

Rodless cylinder is divided into magnetic couple rodless cylinder and mechanical contact rodless cylinder. Rodless cylinder is a kind of cylinder that uses the piston to connect the external machinery directly or in a way, and makes it follow the piston to achieve reciprocating motion. The biggest advantage of this kind of cylinder is to save installation space.

(1) Magnetic couple rodless cylinder:

The piston drives the moving body outside the cylinder block to move synchronously through the magnetic force. Its working principle: a group of permanent magnetic rings with high magnetic strength are installed on the piston, and the magnetic line of force acts with another group of magnetic rings through the thin-wall cylinder. Because the two groups of magnetic rings have opposite magnetism, they have strong suction. When the piston is pushed by air pressure in the cylinder, the magnetic ring sleeve outside the cylinder is driven to move together under the action of magnetic force. The thrust of the cylinder piston must match the suction of the magnetic ring.

(2) Mechanical contact rodless cylinder

There is a groove in the axial direction of the cylinder pipe, and the piston and Shangzhi move in the upper part of the groove. In order to prevent leakage and dustproof, stainless steel sealing belt and dustproof stainless steel belt are used at the opening to fix on the cylinder heads at both ends. The piston frame passes through the groove to connect the piston with Shangzhi. The piston is connected with Shangzhi to drive the actuator fixed on Shangzhi to realize reciprocating motion.
