I. cylinder wear

The main reasons are as follows:

1. Poor lubrication (including poor selection of lubricating oil; less lubricating oil), it is difficult to form lubricating oil film on the upper part of the cylinder, resulting in accelerated cylinder wear;

2. Mechanical wear caused by high pressure (over 1MPa);

3. After the dust in the air, the impurities in the air circuit or the fuel oil enter the cylinder, the cylinder wear will be intensified

The common measures to reduce cylinder wear are Regular replacement

II. Piston ring damaged

The material of piston (plug ring) is not matched with the cylinder wall, that is to say, the hardness of piston ring is too different from that of cylinder wall, which will also cause wear

III. piston wear

The piston head seldom contacts with the cylinder wall due to the supporting function of the piston ring, so its wear is very small; although the piston skirt contacts with the cylinder wall, the unit area pressure is not large, and the lubrication condition is good, so the wear speed is very small.
