The function of check valve

Cheek valve: Check valve is also known as one-way valve or check valve. Its function is to prevent medium backflow in the pipeline. The bottom valve of pump suction closure also belongs to check valve type.

The opening and closing parts open or close by themselves depending on the medium flow and force to prevent the medium backflow valve is called a check valve. Check valves belong to automatic valves. They are mainly used in pipelines where media flow in one direction. Only one direction is allowed to flow in order to prevent accidents.

Check valves are divided into lifting check valves, swing check valves and butterfly check valves according to their structure. Lifting check valves can be divided into vertical and horizontal. Swing check valves are divided into three types: single-lobe, double-lobe and multi-lobe. The butterfly check valve is straight-through type. The connection forms of the above check valves can be divided into threaded connection, flange connection and welding.
