According to the different friction properties of moving elements, it can be divided into rolling bearing and sliding bearing. How to distinguish rolling bearing and sliding bearing? What's the difference between the two?

Difference between rolling bearing and sliding bearing of cylinder with guide rod:

The cylinder rolling bearing is composed of an inner ring, an outer ring, a rolling element and a cage, in which the outer ring is fixed as a support; The inner ring rotates with the shaft; Rolling element is important, which is related to the performance and service life of bearing; Evenly distributed rolling elements can effectively reduce friction.

If the cylinder sliding bearing is a sliding bearing, it still works under sliding friction.

Difference between rolling bearing and sliding bearing of cylinder with guide rod:

Cylinder rolling bearing: the rolling bearing is particularly sensitive to foreign matters such as metal chips. Its service life is shorter than that of sliding bearing. It is more suitable for working at medium speed. When working at high speed, the noise is relatively large, and the load bearing capacity is much smaller than that of sliding bearing with the same volume. Therefore, the radial size of rolling bearing is large.

Sliding bearing: stable operation without noise

Difference between rolling bearing and sliding bearing of cylinder with guide rod:

Sliding bearing: suitable for lateral load resistance with impact such as limiter.

Rolling bearing: smooth actuation, suitable for propulsion, lifting and lowering.
