1. Seal for connection between cylinder head and cylinder barrel
The seal connecting the cylinder head and cylinder barrel is generally installed in the groove matching the cylinder head and cylinder barrel with O-ring; Sometimes, a rubber flat washer is placed on the connecting seam to form a flat seal.
2. Sealing of piston
There are two places to seal the piston. One is the dynamic seal between the piston and the cylinder barrel. In addition to O-ring and lip ring, W-ring seal is also used. Dynamic seal is a sealing structure that vulcanizes the piston and rubber. W-shaped seal is a two-way seal with small axial size. The other is the static seal at the connection between the piston and the piston rod, which generally uses O-ring seal.
3. Sealing of piston rod
For the sealing of the piston rod, the lip seal ring, dust seal ring or dust combined seal ring are placed in the groove of the cylinder head to ensure the sealing and dust prevention during the reciprocating movement of the piston rod. The above sealing structure can be seen in the figure below.
4. Sealing of buffer plunger
There are two methods to seal the buffer plunger: one is to place the lip seal ring for the hole in the groove of the buffer plunger, and the other is to press the special seal ring for cylinder buffer on the cylinder head. The special seal ring for buffer is composed of a lip seal ring vulcanized on the circular steel cover. The buffer performance of this special buffer seal ring is better than that of this method,.
The floating buffer seal structure is that a lip seal ring is floating on the cylinder head. When the buffer plunger enters the buffer, the floating lip seal ring can move a short distance with the buffer plunger. The floating sealing structure can reduce the concentricity requirements for the processing and installation of cylinder parts and ensure the sealing performance of buffer.
