According to the pressure, discharge capacity, structural scheme of the compressor, types of compressed gas, materials for manufacturing the cylinder and the habits of the manufacturer, the structure of the cylinder can be in various forms. The main requirements for designing the cylinder are as follows:

(1) The cylinder should have enough strength and rigidity, and the working surface should have good wear resistance;

(2) There should be good cooling and good lubrication on the working surface;

(3) The clearance volume and gas resistance in the cylinder should be reduced as much as possible;

(4) The connection and sealing of the joint part should be reliable;

(5) It should have good manufacturing process performance and easy disassembly;
